The GameSir G7 Pro DD2 is an advanced gaming controller developed in collaboration with Dragon’s Dogma 2, offering three connectivity modes and broad compatibility with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Android, and Steam. The model supports wired connection on Xbox consoles, 2.4 GHz wireless on PCs, and Bluetooth for Android devices. The controller is equipped with durable GameSir Mag-Res™ TMR analog sticks, analog triggers utilizing the Hall effect, and a 1000Hz polling rate on PC, which translates to faster response times and greater control precision. The design also utilizes optical ABXY switches, a mechanical D-pad, four additional buttons, and four vibration motors, making the controller well-suited for dynamic shooters as well as racing games and RPGs.

The joysticks’ 4096-level resolution allows for more precise control of character movement and aiming, which is particularly important in games requiring high precision. The three-piece magnetic faceplate can be easily swapped without tools, and the set includes additional D-pad covers to change the control layout. The GameSir G7 Pro DD2 is compatible with faceplates from the previous G7 series; however, faceplates from the G7 Pro version are not compatible with older controller models. The manufacturer has also included a built-in gyroscope with mapping functionality available on PC, which can improve control and aiming precision in select games. Using the GameSir Nexus app, users can customize button and trigger settings, adjust analog stick sensitivity, and create their own configuration profiles.
