The Uni-T UT691-10 is a visual fault locator designed for identifying optical fibers, detecting faults, and performing routine maintenance tasks. The device uses a red laser with a wavelength of 650 ±10 nm and offers both continuous and pulsed modes, allowing you to adapt its operation to the task at hand. An output power of at least 10 mW enables the diagnosis of optical fibers ranging from 8 to 10 km in length, making the model suitable even for more demanding installations. A universal 2.5 mm FC connector enhances compatibility with popular fiber optic systems.

Convenient operation and field readiness

The device is equipped with a 3.7 V lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 1050 mAh, which provides over 7 hours of operation on a single charge. A battery level indicator, a built-in LED flashlight, and an automatic shut-off function after 15 minutes enhance user comfort and help conserve energy. The non-slip housing, compliant with the IP54 standard, protects the device during field work, and its compact dimensions of 130 × 38 × 27 mm and weight of just 62 g make the locator convenient to carry and use on a daily basis.
