The SmallRig RA-D120 is a parabolic softbox with a diameter of 120 cm, designed with a universal Bowens mount, making it compatible with SmallRig RC350D/RC350B/RC450D/RC450B spot lights and other models with this mount available on the market. The latest generation of SmallRig’s proprietary quick-release mechanism allows you to assemble and disassemble the softbox in just 15 seconds, significantly reducing setup time before a shoot. The 16-sided design provides soft, enveloping light with deep and wide diffusion, and the set includes a 45° honeycomb grid and two diffusers with varying degrees of light transmission. The product combines robust construction with ease of use thanks to well-thought-out design solutions.

The softbox’s 16-sided shape gives the light a soft, enveloping quality with deep and wide shadow falloff. All umbrella rods are made of military-grade steel, which is heat-resistant and can withstand tens of thousands of folding cycles without deformation.

The umbrella rods are mounted on the outside of the structure, ensuring smooth and even coverage of the inner reflective coating. This design minimizes light loss and produces a brighter and softer lighting effect. The external mounting of the ribs also prevents them from shifting or piercing the fabric, which extends the lifespan of the reflective coating and the entire softbox.
