SMALLRIG RA-D60 Softbox, 60 cm

SMALLRIG RA-D60 60cm Softbox

The SmallRig RA-D60 Mini Parabolic Softbox 4682 is a compact parabolic softbox with a diameter of 60 cm, designed specifically for SmallRig COB lights from the RC 60 and RC 100 series. The model features a quick-release mounting and disassembly mechanism with a squeeze-type latch, ensuring that setting up and folding the softbox is quick and easy. The kit includes inner and outer diffusion fabrics as well as a 45° honeycomb grid, which helps produce soft, even light and provides better control over its spread. The Oxford diffusion material and anti-reflective coating help minimize light loss and ensure an even lighting effect.

Quick Assembly and Convenient Operation

The RA-D60 is designed so that assembling and disassembling the softbox requires as few steps as possible. Simply squeeze the quick-release mechanism to efficiently detach the softbox and prepare it for storage. Its light weight and quick-folding system make it easy to work in fast-paced shooting conditions, especially when the lighting setup is frequently changed. The included bag allows for convenient storage of the softbox and its accessories.

Dual diffusion and 45° honeycomb

The inner and outer diffusion fabrics help scatter the light emitted by the lamp, making it softer and more even. This reduces harsh transitions between light and shadow and produces a more controlled lighting effect. The included 45° honeycomb grid reduces lateral light spread, making it easier to direct the light toward a specific area. Users can thus adjust the softbox’s performance to meet their current scene lighting needs.

Lightweight and Compact Design

When unfolded, the softbox measures 600 × 360 mm and weighs approximately 700 g. The construction combines nylon, polyester, iron, and a zinc alloy, thereby combining a fabric diffusion surface with appropriately reinforced structural elements. This model is designed to work with the SmallRig RC 60 and RC 100 COB Video Lights. The set also includes two diffusers, a honeycomb grid, a user manual, and a storage bag.
