The Rojeco PTD001 IQ Training is an automatic food dispenser equipped with a training button that allows you to use treats as rewards while training and playing with your dog. The device allows you to dispense food remotely, adjust portion sizes, and record your own voice message, helping to add variety to daily training and encourage your pet to be active. The dispenser has a 0.3-liter capacity, works with dry food and treats up to about 2.5 cm in size, and is powered by a built-in 2000 mAh rechargeable battery that charges via USB. A separate button with a 300 mAh battery allows the dog to activate the reward-dispensing mechanism on its own.

Learning Through Play and Rewards

The external button can be used to create a simple task in which the dog presses it with its paw, and the dispenser releases a portion of kibble or treats. This method of delivering rewards can add variety to obedience training, concentration exercises, and everyday play at home. The button works at a distance of up to about 18 m indoors and up to about 24 m outdoors, so the dispenser and the button do not need to be right next to each other.

Custom Voice Message

The Rojeco PTD001 is equipped with an audio recording feature that allows you to record your own message related to feeding or training. A familiar voice can serve as an additional cue for the dog, indicating that a task has been completed or that a treat is on its way. This feature also allows you to add variety to playtime when the owner is in another room.

Adjustable portion size

Inside the dispenser is a mechanism that allows you to adjust the amount of food dispensed, making it easy to tailor portions to the dog’s size and the type of treats being used. The device can be used with dry food, freeze-dried treats, and other treats up to 2.5 cm in size. This adjustment is particularly useful during training, as it allows you to dispense smaller portions multiple times instead of pouring out a larger amount of food all at once.

Rechargeable Battery and Convenient Charging

The main unit has a 2000 mAh battery, while the training button is equipped with a 300 mAh battery. Both components are charged via USB, so they do not require regular battery replacement. It takes about 3.5 hours to fully charge the dispenser and about 2 hours to fully charge the button, making it easy to prepare the set for the next training session.

Easy Cleaning and Compact Design

The dispenser is made of ABS and PP plastics and measures approximately 162.6 × 162.6 × 200.7 mm, so it doesn’t take up much floor space. The design allows you to disassemble the parts that come into contact with the food, making it easy to wash them regularly; however, the main unit and the button should be wiped clean and should not be washed in the dishwasher.
