SMALLRIG RC 60B 60W LED Studio Light

SMALLRIG RC 60B 60W LED Studio Light

The SmallRig RC 60B is a compact 60 W COB LED light equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery, color temperature adjustment from 2700–6500 K, and high color rendering indices of CRI 97+ and TLCI 98+. At 5600 K, it delivers 2,670 lux from a distance of 1 m without an additional reflector; with the included 45° Mini Hyper Reflector, this value increases to 11,200 lux. The body weighs approximately 650 g, and its compact size, battery-powered operation, and compatibility with a handheld grip make the RC 60B well-suited for both studio shoots and on-location productions.

Built-in Battery and Flexible USB-C Power Supply

The built-in 49.64 Wh battery allows you to use the light without having to install additional NP-F or V-Mount batteries and their associated mounts and cables. At full power, the light can operate for approximately 45 minutes, and in ECO mode, the runtime extends to about 75 minutes, making it easier to handle shorter shoots without access to a power outlet. The USB-C port supports PD charging up to 100 W, with a maximum battery charging power of 48 W; the ability to operate while charging allows the light to be powered by compatible PD power supplies or power banks with a recommended power rating of 65 W or higher.

Adjustable Color Temperature and Precise Colors

The color temperature range from 2700 to 6500 K allows you to adapt the lighting to various conditions, from warm indoor light to cooler light similar to daylight. CRI 97+, TLCI 98+, an average SSI of 89, and TM-30 Rf 96 and Rg 100 help preserve the natural appearance of colors, skin tones, and photographed subjects. As a result, the RC 60B is suitable for, among other things, recording interviews, online content, commercials, and news reports, as well as for product and portrait photography and event coverage.

Simple Adjustment and Quiet Cooling System

The light features separate dials for adjusting color temperature and light intensity, allowing you to quickly change key settings without navigating through complex menus. A 1.3-inch LED screen makes it easy to monitor current settings while working and allows you to adjust the light more efficiently for the shot you’re preparing. An intelligent cooling system minimizes overheating, and the fan operates at approximately 26 dB in standard mode and approximately 23 dB in ECO mode—a key consideration when recording footage with audio.

Lightweight design built for field use

The housing is made of V0-rated flame-retardant PC+ABS plastic and features a metal base, which helps reduce the unit’s weight while maintaining adequate durability during regular use. The body itself measures approximately 115 × 85 × 85 mm and weighs about 650 g, while the entire set, including accessories and a carrying case, weighs about 1.5 kg. The included handheld grip, tripod adapter, Mini Hyper Reflector 45°, and carrying bag make it easy to use the light in various configurations and conveniently transport it between shooting locations.
