SMALLRIG RF 05B Zoom LED Video Light

The SMALLRIG RF 05B Zoom LED Video Light offers adjustable color temperature across a wide range from 1900 K to 8000 K, allowing you to tailor the light to both warm lighting and cooler daylight conditions. CRI 96+ and TLCI 97+ ensure accurate color reproduction, which is important when shooting video, photographing products, or working with skin tones. Smooth adjustment of color temperature and brightness allows for precise customization of lighting parameters. The lamp operates at a standard power of 5 W, and a one-touch function allows you to temporarily increase the power to 8 W in over-boost mode. The built-in OLED display shows the set color temperature, brightness level, and battery status.

Smooth zoom and versatile light shaping

Adjusting the beam angle from 17° to 65° allows for a smooth transition from a narrow, focused beam to a wide beam that illuminates a larger portion of the frame. The included diffuser softens the light and provides more even illumination, while the four-leaf barn doors help precisely limit the beam and direct it onto a selected part of the scene. The kit also includes a snoot, a spotlight attachment, 10 gobos, 10 pattern slides, and 3 RGB filters, allowing the lamp to serve both as a primary light source and as a tool for creating creative effects.

IP65-rated housing for use in various conditions

The SMALLRIG RF 05B Zoom housing is made of aluminum alloy and features an IP65 rating, which ensures resistance to dust and water jets. This design expands the lamp’s versatility for use in on-location shoots, even in harsh weather conditions. At the same time, the device maintains a compact design—it is 130 mm long and 40 mm in diameter, and weighs approximately 215 g, so it doesn’t take up much space in a gear bag.

Built-in Battery and Over-Boost Mode

The flashlight uses a built-in 3.7 V battery with a capacity of 2,600 mAh and an energy rating of 9.62 Wh. During continuous operation in standard 5 W mode, runtime can be up to approximately 125 minutes. If needed, the One-tap feature allows you to temporarily increase the power to 8 W in over-boost mode; however, using higher power reduces the runtime on a single charge. The input power is 5 V/1 A or 5 V/3 A, and the included USB-C cable is used to charge the device from a compatible power source.
