The SMALLRIG NP-F970 4469 battery is a lithium-ion power source with a capacity of 10,500 mAh and an energy rating of 76.65 Wh, designed for extended use during recording, photography, and video production. In addition to the main power port for compatible devices such as cameras, LED lights, monitors, and motorized sliders, the model is equipped with a USB-C port with input and output functionality, as well as a USB-A port. As a result, the battery can also serve as a portable power source for smartphones, tablets, or other electronic devices, increasing its versatility both in the studio and on location.

Fast Charging via USB-C

The USB-C port supports fast charging at up to 36 W and standards such as PD 3.0, QC 3.0, QC 2.0, FCP, AFC, and PPS. When using a compatible charger, a full battery charge via USB-C can take approximately 3.5 hours, allowing you to prepare your equipment more efficiently for the next session. The USB-A port offers an output power of up to 27 W, and the parallel circuit design of the USB-C and USB-A ports allows for simultaneous fast charging of two devices with a combined power output not exceeding 54 W.

Easy-to-Read Battery Level Indicator

The built-in OLED display lets you check the exact battery level in real time, making it easier to plan your remaining operating time. A touch button allows you to quickly view the percentage, and when the battery level drops below 10%, the numbers on the screen begin to flash, alerting you that it’s time to recharge. The battery also offers the option to disable the USB-C and USB-A ports and enter sleep mode, which helps reduce unnecessary power consumption during storage or transport.

Safe Design for Everyday Use

The SMALLRIG NP-F970 uses high-quality cells and an intelligent power management system that works in conjunction with safety features to protect against, among other things, overcurrent and deep discharge. The housing, made of PC and ABS materials, measures approximately 74.6 × 71.6 × 38.5 mm, and the battery itself weighs about 362 g, making it compatible with devices that use the NP-F970 standard. The black, minimalist design complements the model’s functional character, and compliance with FCC, CE, and ISED certifications confirms that it meets specific requirements for the use of electronic devices.
