The SMALLRIG battery is designed for Canon cameras that use the LP-E6P battery type. It has a capacity of 2520 mAh, a nominal voltage of 7.2 V, and an energy rating of 18.144 Wh. The built-in USB-C port allows you to charge the battery from various power sources, such as a power bank, a wall charger, or a car charger, and the 5 V / 2 A input enables a full charge in approximately 2.5 hours. It features a fully decoded electronic circuit that ensures compatibility with compatible cameras, prevents additional messages from appearing during operation, and allows you to check the charge level on the camera’s screen.

Longer runtime thanks to a 2520 mAh capacity

The 2520 mAh battery provides ample power for photography and video recording. As a result, the battery can serve as both a primary power source and a backup battery for photo shoots, trips, or extended recording sessions. A maximum discharge current of 6 A helps maintain a stable power supply to the device during operation.

The USB-C port offers greater flexibility for recharging and allows you to use popular power sources. The battery can be connected to, among other things, a power bank, a wall charger, a car charger, or a compatible USB power adapter. The maximum charging current of 2 A allows the battery to be fully charged in about 2.5 hours.

Full decoding and broad compatibility

The electronic circuitry used is fully decoded, allowing the battery to work with devices designed for the Canon LP-E6P battery without any additional messages appearing during operation. It also supports the transmission of charge level information to the camera. The dimensions of 56.8 × 38.4 × 21 mm correspond to the design of a standard battery of this type, ensuring that the battery fits properly into a compatible camera battery compartment and does not hinder installation or removal.
