The Creality Falcon A1C 5W combines the capabilities of a precision laser engraver with a compact, portable design, making it ideal for use in a home workshop, studio, classroom, or small service shop. Interchangeable laser modules allow you to adapt the device to various materials and projects, while automatic focusing simplifies setup. A Class 1 enclosed housing, a flame detection system, and additional safety features enhance safety during operation. The package is complemented by the free FDS Studio software with AI features that streamline graphic preparation, design, and the production of larger batches.

One machine, many possibilities

The Falcon A1C’s modular design allows you to swap out the laser source in seconds without using any tools. The kit includes a 5 W diode laser, and the device can also be used with an optional 10 W diode module or a 1.2 W infrared module. The 5 W and 10 W lasers are ideal for working with wood, bamboo, paper, cork, cardboard, stone, leather, glass, and fabrics. The 1.2 W IR module expands the possibilities to include brass, gold, silver, platinum, acrylic, plastics, aluminum, and stainless steel. You can also expand the Falcon A1C with additional holders, and the right accessories allow you to engrave mugs, tumblers, spherical ornaments, and other items with curved and cylindrical surfaces.

The 150 × 150 mm work area provides ample space for practical projects. You can create items such as coasters, leather goods, small decorations, and personalized gifts. An engraving speed of up to 15,000 mm/min streamlines the execution of your ideas, while the high precision of the motion system ensures smooth, clean lines. The rigid construction minimizes vibration during operation, and the small laser spot helps reproduce sharp edges and fine details. Material setup also requires no tedious adjustments—autofocus automatically selects the appropriate working height once the item is placed in the machine.

Safety During Operation

The enclosed Class 1 design effectively limits exposure to harmful laser radiation while keeping the work area visible. As a result, there is no need to wear safety goggles during standard use. The built-in flame detection system automatically stops the device upon detecting a hazard, triggers an audible alarm, and sends an immediate notification to the app and the computer software. Tilt Protection shuts down the engraver if an abnormal tilt is detected, while the USB safety lock helps prevent accidental activation of the device.

The free FDS Studio offers a clear interface, intuitive operation, and real-time design preview, making its capabilities accessible even to those just starting their journey in engraving. Integrated AI tools further shorten the path from artwork to a finished project. AI Filter Lab lets you change the appearance of materials using various professional styles, AI Background Removal automatically recognizes object edges and prepares a smooth, high-quality graphics with a transparent background, while AI Contour Extraction detects colors, separates layers, and converts the image into colorful vector layers useful for multicolor engraving.
