Two channels, more possibilities

The Shelly Wave 2PM offers two independent channels, each with a load capacity of up to 10 A (up to 16 A combined), allowing you to control two devices or electrical circuits simultaneously. You can independently automate the operation of lights, fans, outlets, or other appliances, tailoring their operation to your own needs and schedules. The built-in energy measurement feature allows you to monitor power consumption for each channel separately or analyze their combined usage, making it easier to control energy costs and optimize the operation of your home appliances.

Stable communication even over long distances

Thanks to support for Z-Wave Long Range technology, the device ensures reliable communication over distances exceeding 1 km in a straight line. It is an excellent choice for large homes, offices, warehouses, outbuildings, or sprawling properties where traditional solutions may have limited range. The switch also supports the Z-Wave Plus standard and allows you to select the operating frequency—864 MHz for Z-Wave Long Range or 868.4 MHz for Z-Wave Plus. In Z-Wave Plus mode, the indoor range is up to 40 m, and the device can act as a repeater, amplifying the signal within the network. In Z-Wave Long Range mode, on the other hand, the indoor range reaches up to 80 m, with the device communicating directly with the hub and not functioning as a repeater. Operating in the sub-GHz band ensures a stable connection and high resistance to interference generated by other wireless devices.

Wide compatibility with smart home systems

The Shelly Wave 2PM works with all certified devices and hubs compliant with the Z-Wave Plus standard and holds official “Works with Home Assistant,” “Works with SmartThings,” and “Works with Homey” certifications. This allows you to easily integrate it into your existing smart home system and expand your automation with new scenarios. However, please note that a compatible gateway (smart home hub) is required to configure the device, and it is not included in the package. Additionally, using the Z-Wave Long Range feature requires a hub and devices that support the ZWLR standard.

Modern Technology

The Wave 2PM model is equipped with the latest Z-Wave 800 Series chip, which ensures high performance, energy efficiency, and reliable communication. The SmartStart feature significantly simplifies setup—simply scan the QR code to automatically add the device to the Z-Wave network. Security is ensured by S2 authentication and AES-128 encryption, which effectively protect communication from unauthorized access. The device consumes a maximum of only 0.3 W of power.
