The Wave 1 LR uses Z-Wave Long Range technology, which was designed for installations requiring reliable communication over long distances. Under favorable conditions, the device maintains a stable connection with a compatible hub even from a distance exceeding 1 km in line of sight. This solution is ideal for large properties, farms, warehouses, or buildings with a remote garage. Unlike the classic Z-Wave Plus mesh network, ZWLR technology uses a star topology, allowing communication to take place directly with the control panel. You can also choose between two operating frequencies (864 MHz for Z-Wave Long Range and 868.4 MHz for standard Z-Wave Plus), allowing you to tailor the operation to your specific setup.

Thanks to its potential-free, dry contacts, the Shelly Wave 1 LR works with a wide range of devices that require electrical signal control. For example, opening the gate can automatically turn on the driveway lights, and a scheduled routine will ensure regular garden watering without the need for manual intervention.
