The SmallRig 4328 Ring Mount is designed specifically for the DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro, RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 5 gimbals. It features numerous control buttons, including shutter, record, joystick, mode switch, center/lock, and sleep mode. The focus dial allows for instant control of the gimbal’s axes, smooth focusing, and adjustment of camera settings. This gives the operator full control over the equipment without having to reach directly for the gimbal.

Internal Four-Channel Power System

The handle integrates an internally routed, four-channel power system that significantly organizes the cabling and reduces the weight of the setup. This allows a single V-mount battery to simultaneously power the gimbal, monitor, video transmitter, lighting, and camera. This solution eliminates the need for separate batteries for each device, which significantly reduces the operator’s workload during long shoots. However, it’s always a good idea to check that the current draw (maximum power consumption) of all connected devices does not exceed the rated output power of the V-mount battery.

Foldable Design and Sturdy Construction

The product features an integrated, foldable design that allows for quick assembly and disassembly, as well as compact storage. It is made of high-quality materials—aluminum alloy, carbon fiber, and plastic—which ensure durability while maintaining a lightweight profile. The ergonomic side handle, made of lightweight carbon fiber, enhances comfort during long shoots and blends seamlessly with the design of DJI equipment. The maximum load capacity is as high as 8.0 kg, making it suitable for use with complex camera setups.

Versatile Mounting Options

The mount offers multiple expansion interfaces to facilitate the attachment of monitors, video transmitters, and power for additional accessories. It features 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 mounting holes, as well as two D-Tap ports, providing flexibility for expanding the setup. The swivel base allows for stable placement of the setup on flat surfaces without the need for additional tripods. This versatility makes the product ideal for both studio and field work.
