The Uni-T UT691-01 is a visual fault locator designed for detecting faults in optical fibers, identifying fibers, and performing maintenance work on optical installations. The device uses a red laser with a wavelength of 650 ±10 nm and offers both continuous and pulsed modes, which facilitates fault location and connection verification. An output power of at least 1 mW allows for operation with fiber optic sections ranging from 2 to 3 km in length, and the universal 2.5 mm FC connector ensures compatibility with popular fiber optic installations.

Convenient operation during daily work

The device is equipped with a 3.7 V lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 1050 mAh, which provides over 12 hours of operation on a single charge. A battery level indicator, a built-in LED flashlight, and an automatic shut-off function after 15 minutes enhance user comfort and help conserve energy. The non-slip housing, which meets the IP54 standard, and its ability to withstand drops from a height of 1 meter make the locator well-suited for field work, while its compact dimensions of 130 × 38 × 27 mm and weight of 62 g make it easy to transport and store.
